Saddle up and ride into the woods of Vilas County! The Vilas County equestrian trail system provides over 16 miles of equestrian trails across Wisconsin’s Northwoods via three loops for riders of all abilities.
The Torch Lake Equestrian Loop, Ski Hill Equestrian Loop, and Pioneer Creek Equestrian Loop are accessed via connector trails. These trails wind through rolling hills which features mature natural stands of red and white pine as well as aspen, oak and spruce. Day parking for equestrian trailers is located near the River Road Equestrian Campground, which directly accesses the Torch Lake Equestrian Loop.
