Get ready for an exhilarating day on the water and through the woods in this new event, The Great Northern Highland Paddle & Portage. This one-of-a-kind event challenges paddlers and outdoor enthusiasts to traverse the scenic beauty of Plum Lake and Star Lake, with a rugged portage in between.
Event Details:
● Date: Saturday, June 21, 2025
● Registration: 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM at Northern Highland Coffee Co., Sayner, WI ● Race Start: 10:00 AM at Town of Plum Lake Fishing Pier and Boat Ramp – Plum Lake Drive
● Finish Line: Star Lake Old Mill Park
The adventure begins with a 2-mile paddle on Plum Lake, followed by a 0.43-mile portage through the woods, before paddlers embark on a final 1.44-mile stretch across Star Lake to the finish line.
