Join Trees For Tomorrow (TFT) for a refreshing after- noon hike along the scenic Tara Lila Trail at Sundstein Road. Led by a TFT naturalist, this moderate-level hike offers a unique opportunity to explore the Northwoods up close—learning about local wildlife, plants, fungi, forest history, and more along the way.
Designed for ages 15 and up, the hike will cover 1–2 miles of uneven terrain over 2 to 2.5 hours, with frequent stops to observe and discuss nature.
Check-in at 12:00pm at Trees For Tomorrow. Rain or shine. No pets, please.

Trees For Tomorrow’s campus, located in Eagle River, Wisconsin, includes National Forest property under permit from the USDA Forest Service. Private property owned by Trees For Tomorrow (TFT), the Wisconsin Newspaper Association and Tara Lila LLC are also utilized for education and outreach purposes.
