Vilas County’s snowmobile trails will reopen at 8am Friday, March 7. This includes all state-funded and club trails.
The 11 Vilas County Snowmobile Alliance snowmobile clubs have certified that the trails are safe to reopen after they were temporarily closed on March 2. Please use caution when riding, stay on marked trails, slow down, and remember that drinking and snowmobiling do not mix.
