Scenic Ride: South-Central Route
This 122-mile route hits some of the most notable communities in central and southern Vilas County, including Boulder Junction, Eagle River, Conover, and Sayner-Star Lake Cloverland. Stop and enjoy the scenery and recreation options at areas like Trout Lake in Boulder Junction, the Wisconsin River near Eagle River, and trails in the Northern Highland-American Legion State Forest. Part of the route includes Rustic Road 60 (the only Rustic Road in Vilas County), a 12-mile stretch of County Highway K that connects Boulder Junction to the Sayner-Star Lake-Cloverland area.
