Vilas County’s off-highway motorcycle (OHM) trail system will officially open for the season on Friday, May 1.
The OHM trail system consists of 30.7 miles of trails, with areas designed for riders of all skill levels. The trailhead is located at the Tamarack Springs Campground at 5019 Tamarack Road in Conover.
The Vilas County Landover Dual Sporters are the sponsor club of the county’s OHM trails and have spent many hours maintaining and inspecting the trails prior to opening.
